Job summary

Inferact Inc. is seeking an IT Support & Operations Engineer to own the internal technology environment for a growing global team from our San Francisco office.

You will handle day-to-day IT support, onboarding/offboarding, provisioning, endpoint management, identity and access, SaaS administration, and security infrastructure to enable scalable operations. You will oversee remote device management across Mac, Windows, and Linux, administer VPN and access infrastructure (Cloudflare, Tailscale,

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience owning application and systems provisioning (onboarding, access changes, deprovisioning).
• Strong identity, access, endpoint security, VPN infrastructure, and remote device management knowledge.
• Experience with SOC 2 compliance programs (evidence collection, remediation, coordination).
• Experience administering SaaS/productivity systems with permissions and lifecycle management (Okta, Notion, Linear, Vanta, Vercel).
• Experience supporting office IT and workplace tech including networking, meeting rooms, and devices.
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently in a fast-growing tech company.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day IT operations for SF office and global team.
• Manage device provisioning, onboarding/offboarding, and access controls.
• Oversee SOC 2 compliance activities with security firms/audit partners.
• Administer company-wide SaaS and tooling; manage permissions and lifecycle.
• Maintain office technology, networking, and meeting-room systems; ensure secure, scalable operations.
