Job summary

Profound is the marketing platform for the age of AI search. We seek a Technical Operations Engineer to own reliability, security, and scalability of identity, endpoint, and IT infrastructure.

You will partner with Engineering and Operations to transform reactive IT support into proactive, automated systems that scale with our growth. This role is ideal for someone who views IT operations as a strategic enabler of engineering velocity rather than mere support.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in IT operations or technical support, ideally supporting engineering teams in high-growth SaaS or AI companies.
• Strong incident management skills including triage and root-cause analysis.
• Experience with identity management, SSO, and access control with Okta.
• Google Workspace administration, including SAML/OIDC and lifecycle automation.
• Multi-cloud experience with AWS as primary and familiarity with GCP/Azure.

Responsibilities

• Triage and resolve technical issues with a focus on automation and continuous improvement.
• Manage and troubleshoot macOS devices and development environments at scale.
• Trace root causes across complex multi-system failures (Google Workspace, MDM, AWS).
• Build runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and documentation to elevate team capabilities.
• Lead projects addressing operational pain points like device provisioning and access control.
• Design self-service solutions to empower engineers to move faster.
