Job summary

Inferact seeks an IT Support & Operations Engineer to own the internal technology environment, protect security, and support a growing, global team. You will manage SF office tech, device provisioning, and SaaS tooling, while advancing SOC 2 readiness with external partners.

You will coordinate onboarding/offboarding, security patches, VPN access, and identity management across Mac, Windows, and Linux devices, driving automation to scale securely as Inferact expands in the US and APAC.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience provisioning applications and systems for new hires and deprovisioning users when access ends.
• Strong understanding of identity, access, endpoint security, VPN infrastructure, and remote device management across multiple OS.
• Experience supporting SOC 2 compliance programs, coordinating evidence collection and remediation with external security firms and audit partners.
• Hands-on administration of SaaS and productivity tools such as Okta, Notion, Linear, Vanta, Vercel, or similar.
• Experience supporting office IT and workplace technology including networking, meeting rooms, conferencing systems, and employee hardware.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day IT operations for the San Francisco office.
• Lead onboarding and offboarding, plus identity and access management across the company.
• Manage endpoint security, patching, and device management on Mac, Windows, and Linux.
• Oversee VPN infrastructure and access controls, including Cloudflare, Tailscale, and Axis.
• Drive SOC 2 compliance progress and coordinate with security partners.
