Job summary

Ben E. Keith Company, a long-standing leader in food and beverage distribution, seeks an Operations I.T. Supervisor to oversee branch IT systems and technical operations.

You will provide 24/7 first-line support, train staff on internal systems, manage inventory, and coordinate to keep networks, mainframe/open systems, and enterprise software running smoothly. The role requires a 1+ year PC maintenance background, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to work flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of PC maintenance and support experience.
• Expertise with PC applications, advanced PC hardware support, basic networking, and LAN administration.
• Excellent diagnosis and problem-solving skills are required.
• Proficiency in oral and written communications.
• Ability to supervise equipment room personnel and coordinate technical activities effectively.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and respond to operational support needs across all shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide phone and on-site technical support to BEK personnel.
• Train BEK personnel on internal systems and office applications.
• Install and configure hardware and software including desktops and printers.
• Maintain equipment and software inventory records.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment issues and perform troubleshooting to minimize disruptions.
• Assist with purchasing of equipment and special projects as assigned.
• Supervise equipment room personnel and ensure safe, organized operations.
