Job summary

Ohio Department of Public Safety - Director's Office/Information Technology (IT Support) in Columbus seeks an Information Technology Supervisor 1 to lead IT staff, oversee the Service Desk, and manage incident response. Work location is 1970 West Broad Street, with hours 7:30am–4:30pm and potential on-call duties 24/7/365.

Qualifications

Undergraduate core coursework in computer science or related field and 42 months of exp. commensurate with duties; knowledge in programming, databases, systems analysis, and data processing.
3 months of project management experience required.
Or 66 months of related experience with 3 months in project management.

Responsibilities

Supervise IT staff whose duties include writing, analyzing and designing programs or systems integration.
Oversee Tier 1 Service Desk and review incident tickets.
Respond to outages, assess urgency, route information, and provide call outs.
Collaborate with vendors to support immediate and offsite equipment.
