Job summary

SingleStore is seeking an IT Operations Engineer in San Francisco to shape our IT toolset and provide Tier 1 end-user support. You will design, implement, and maintain systems, onboard/offboard users, and automate workflows across Google Workspace, OKTA, Slack, JIRA, and more.

You will partner with all business units to evaluate hardware and software solutions, enhance processes, and grow with the company as it scales.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience implementing and administering Google Workspace, Okta (+ Workflows), Slack, and JIRA.
• Experience using GAM or similar tools for bulk Google Workspace tasks via command line.
• Experience administering Kandji or any Mac MDM tool.
• Experience designing and implementing tools to support a distributed user base of macOS, Linux, and Windows.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Desire to learn new technologies and help teammates.

Responsibilities

• Administering a wide variety of SaaS applications (OKTA, Google Workspace, Slack, JIRA, etc.).
• Automate IT workflows to reduce manual tasks.
• Onboard new hires and offboard users.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
• Design and maintain IT systems across hardware, OS, networking, and conferencing.
• Collaborate with business units to evaluate hardware/software solutions.
• Communicate clearly with the whole company.
• Proactively improve processes as the business scales.
