Job summary

Emergent Holdings, Inc. seeks an IT Operations Supervisor to lead day-to-day IT department activities, guide process improvements, and strengthen security and reliability across systems and data. You will report to senior IT leadership and help drive strategic initiatives aligned with enterprise goals.

The role requires a strong background in IT governance, budgeting, and cross-functional team leadership within an insurance-oriented environment. On-site work in the Lansing area is typical.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or related field.
• Five years of progressive responsibility in an IT environment.
• One year of management, supervisory or lead experience in IT.
• Experience within the insurance industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand and manage information system risks, develop policies and procedures.
• Oversee infrastructure, applications, systems and storage to ensure uptime.
• Coordinate staff efforts across IT for cooperation and efficiency.
• Plan, develop and manage all aspects of the IT Operations team.
• Engage in strategy discussions and identify opportunities to meet goals.
• Provide alternatives and recommendations for management decisions.
