Job summary

Squint is hiring an IT Ops Lead to own the systems, tools, and infrastructure that keep every Squinter productive and secure. You will sit within Finance & Operations and ensure new hires are set up on day one, tools and vendors are well managed, and security hygiene is solid—without slowing anyone down.

In this role you’ll own onboarding/offboarding, manage vendor relationships, and maintain foundational security practices in collaboration with Engineering.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of IT operations, systems administration, or similar roles.
• Experience managing SaaS tooling, devices, and vendor relationships.
• Working knowledge of core security practices (SSO, access management, device management).
• Strong documentation and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Own internal systems: manage SaaS tools, devices, and access.
• Run IT for onboarding and offboarding: ensure devices and access on day one and off when needed.
• Manage vendors and procurement: relationships, contracting, renewals, spend tracking.
• Keep security hygiene basics with Engineering (SSO, access, device policies).
• Be the go-to for IT issues and build tooling/runbooks to prevent problems.
