Squint in San Francisco is hiring a Talent Lead to build Squint's recruiting function from the ground up. You’ll own full-cycle recruiting for priority roles across the company while shaping systems, processes, and employer branding to compete for top talent in a crowded AI market.

This is a builder's role: hands-on recruiter and function architect. You’ll stand up the process and tooling, partner with founders and executives on hiring strategies, and lay groundwork for People Ops—from

Qualifications

• 6+ years of recruiting experience including startup scale-up.
• Experience building or scaling a recruiting function.
• Strong stakeholder management with senior leaders.
• Familiarity with ATS tools (Ashby, Greenhouse or similar).

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hands-on: full-cycle sourcing, screening, and closing for key roles.
• Build the machine: set up process, tooling, and metrics to hire well at scale.
• Partner with hiring managers: translate headcount plans into hiring strategies.
• Build the brand: improve Squint’s employer presence to attract top talent.
• Lay the groundwork for People: extend onboarding and early performance processes.
