Job summary

UFORCE seeks an IT Operations Engineer to keep a distributed EU/UK workforce productive, secure, and properly equipped. You will handle day-to-day IT support, user lifecycle operations, hardware asset management, and identity support, collaborating with IT, People, Security and operations teams.

This hands-on role drives scalable IT processes as the company grows. You’ll own onboarding/offboarding, device hygiene, and continued improvement of IT operations tooling and workflows, while

Qualifications

• Experience in IT operations and service desk roles.
• Strong triage, user communication and SLA awareness.
• Hands-on support for macOS/iOS in a business setting.
• Familiar with Google Workspace, Slack, Meet and Microsoft 365.
• Experience with MDM platforms and identity management systems.

Responsibilities

• Own first-tier IT support across Slack, Notion, Jira and calls.
• Triages and routes employee IT requests clearly and efficiently.
• Support macOS and iOS devices including setup and troubleshooting.
• Improve MDM workflows, device compliance and endpoint hygiene.
• Manage identity and access with Okta or similar platforms.
• Onboard and offboard new starters and leavers.
• Maintain hardware asset tracking and lifecycle workflows.
• Create self-service troubleshooting guides and docs.
• Collaborate with IT, People and Security to reduce friction.
