Job summary

Finom is expanding across Europe and seeks an IT Operations Engineer who puts internal users first. You’ll support Windows/macOS devices, identity, and SaaS tools used by hundreds of employees, running core platforms, and improving processes.

You’ll join a team delivering fast, reliable IT service, handling onboarding, access governance, and knowledge sharing while aligning with security and compliance standards. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in IT support, service desk, or a similar user-facing technical role.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of Windows and macOS: hardware, OS, applications, peripherals, and network connectivity.
• Experience with an ITSM or ticketing tool, ideally Jira Service Management, and working to SLAs.
• Working knowledge of Google Workspace or M365 user administration.
• Familiarity with JumpCloud MDM, Intune, or Jamf and an identity provider for enrollment, password resets, MFA, and SSO issues.
• Good written documentation habits: clear ticket notes and knowledge base articles.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Delivering Excellent Internal Support: First line of help for Finom employees via Jira Service Management and Slack; triage and resolve requests within SLA; keep users updated; close tickets clearly and friendly.
• Troubleshooting Windows and macOS devices: diagnose and fix hardware, OS, software, and network issues remotely; manage device enrollment and compliance in JumpCloud MDM; handle software installs and updates; provide clear write-ups for complex cases.
• Supporting Identity, Access, and the Employee Lifecycle: onboarding and offboarding in JumpCloud, Google Workspace, and Torii; handle access requests and SSO issues; follow access governance and least-privilege practices.
• Administering Everyday Platforms: manage user-level administration of Jira, Confluence, Slack, and Notion; keep JSM request types, KB articles, and workflows accurate.
• Improving How We Work: spot ticket trends, write knowledge base articles, small scripts, or propose automations; support security and compliance (DORA, ISO 27001, SOC 2) with good records.
