HappyRobot is seeking an IT Engineer in San Francisco, CA to run internal IT operations. You will own identity, devices, and access across the company, automate repetitive tasks, and support a fast-growing tech environment.

Key responsibilities include managing IAM integrations, onboarding/offboarding, and admin duties for Google Workspace / M365, MDM tooling, and ticketing workflows. Excellent communication with non-technical users is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in IT administration or IT engineering, ideally in a fast-growing tech company.
• Hands-on experience with at least one IDP (Okta, Google Auth), one MDM, and one ticketing tool.
• Working knowledge of at least one MDM (Jamf, Iru or Intune), including Apple ADE / Windows Autopilot.
• Solid grasp of REST APIs, webhooks and DNS records (A, CNAME, MX, TXT), and ability to read and modify scripts in Python, Bash or PowerShell.
• Experience with ticket queues and SLAs, strong communication with non-technical users, and clear written documentation.

Responsabilités

• Identity & Access (IAM): Own our identity provider integrations and SSO.
• Onboarding & Offboarding: Ensure new hires have equipment and access from Day 1.
• Workspace Admin: Manage Google Workspace / M365 users, groups, licenses, drives, and security.
• Device Management: Oversee fleet enrollment, config profiles, app deployment, patching, encryption, compliance.
• Support & Access Requests: Handle IT tickets with SLA-aligned responses and least privilege.
• Automation & Documentation: Build scripts, troubleshoot API/webhook/DNS issues, write runbooks.
