Job summary

You will plan, install, configure, maintain, and optimize network hardware, software, and communications links, and document issues and provide user training as required.

Collaborate with IT staff on network design, respond to outages, and maintain servers and security solutions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on knowledge of network systems, protocols, and standards.
• Experience with AD, Windows Server OS, Office 365, and VMware.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with IT staff on network design and configurations.
• Assist in end-user device setup: desktop, laptop, mobile.
• Respond to network outages per continuity plans.
• Document procedures, manuals, and checklists for installations.
• Support networking projects and new technology initiatives.
• Research network products and standards for procurement and development.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of contracts and installations.
• Install, test, and troubleshoot workstations and network gear.
• Assist Tier 1 Service Desk with escalated IT issues.
