We are seeking a Network Operations Engineer to support large-scale virtual CMTS (vCMTS) and RPHY platforms in a nationwide production environment. This role is focused on platform stability, incident response, automation, and operational excellence in a 24×7 mission‑critical setting.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of production operations experience in a 24×7 environment
• Strong hands‑on experience with Linux/Unix systems and command‑line troubleshooting
• Proven experience with network troubleshooting and configuration
• Experience with Juniper, Arista, or Cisco networking devices
• Experience in troubleshooting server hardware and software issues
• Hands‑on scripting and automation experience using Python and/or Bash
• Experience handling incidents, escalations, and on‑call responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Support vCMTS platform stand‑up, software installation, configuration, and day‑to‑day operations
• Execute and support RPHY turn‑ups across multiple regions
• Perform system and network maintenance following established operational processes
• Participate in incident response, escalation, and mitigation as part of a rotating on‑call schedule
• Identify service‑impacting trends and collaborate with engineering teams on long‑term solutions
• Implement changes, including system upgrades, RMAs, risk management, and automation
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and/or Bash
• Provide hands‑on support for network devices and server hardware
• Collaborate with Product and Project Management to operationalize new products
