Job summary

Granite Construction seeks an experienced IT professional to coordinate, diagnose, and troubleshoot incoming employee IT service requests. You will support desktop, laptop, and network services across the main office, plants, satellite offices, and job sites, ensuring productivity and timely problem resolution.

You will maintain local Active Directory, VOIP telephony, and associated hardware while contributing to IT documentation, disaster recovery testing, and strategic IT projects aligned with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent training, experience and certifications.
• CompTIA A+ certification, Microsoft certified professional, CompTIA Network+ certification preferred, MCSE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming IT Service Desk calls to address user inquiries promptly.
• Resolve local network and communication issues to maintain operations.
• Maintain and support local Cisco VoIP telephones and related equipment.
• Manage Active Directory OU and local network services per policy.
• Develop and maintain IT documentation and disaster recovery testing.
• Coordinate IT equipment acquisition, installation, and maintenance per standards.
• Provide guidance to management on IT needs and budgeting.

Education

Bachelors Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field

Equivalent training, experience and certifications
