Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States is seeking an experienced IT operations and integration specialist to optimize enterprise platforms. You will lead efforts to review processes, improve metrics, and implement API-driven solutions across services, with a focus on stability and security.

You will collaborate with IT, Product, and Business stakeholders, support incidents, and contribute to automation and documentation to drive operational excellence in a financial services–adjacent environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IT operations, application support, or enterprise integration platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field required.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience supporting API and integration platforms (MuleSoft or similar).
• Experience with API technologies, integration patterns, and service-oriented architectures.
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) preferred.
• Experience supporting production systems in an L2 or higher support model.

Responsibilities

• Lead activities to review processes and metrics that support operational effectiveness.
• Identify constraints or opportunities that influence business/tech strategy.
• Develop solution approaches to improve business outcomes.
• Lead development and review of artifacts describing current/future state processes and metrics.
• Facilitate discussions with IT, Product, and Business stakeholders to define problems and gather insights.
• Apply technical API/integration expertise to enterprise systems and services.
• Ensure platform stability, scalability, and security while driving improvements.
• Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Monitor platform health, analyze performance/usage trends, and implement improvements.
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and product teams to resolve integration issues.
• Support deployments and platform upgrades.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise standards and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to automation initiatives and maintain documentation.
• Help drive operational excellence and reliability of enterprise integration services.
