Minimum 6+ years designing and developing REST APIs and Kafka data streaming.
Experience with Oracle, MongoDB, and SQL.
Experience with SOAP Web Services, XML, JSON, XSD, Postman.
Strong written and verbal communication; able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

Design new and update REST API and Kafka event services.
Define endpoints, data formats, and authentication methods with security and performance in mind.
Translate business requirements to API designs.
Build integration solutions with IBM MDM AE, MongoDB and Kafka.
Implement API design best practices and modern patterns.
Support planning, estimation, development, testing and AT support.
Participate in production incident analysis and issue resolution.
Work in an Agile environment using JIRA and Confluence.
