Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States seeks an Operations Consultant to provide operational consulting and execution support on fund launches, counterparty setup, asset class expansion, reporting initiatives, and platform integrations.

You will conduct operational reviews to optimize environments, drive adoption of new functionality, and implement scalable, efficient workflows across front-, middle-, and back-office systems, vendors, data warehouses, and reporting platforms.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience OR high school diploma with 4+ years of related experience.
• Master’s degree OR Bachelor’s Degree.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects of moderate complexity.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make recommendations and decisions independently.
• Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
• Prior experience in BPO, consulting, or client-facing roles strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational consulting and execution support on projects such as fund launches, counterparty setup, asset class expansion, reporting initiatives, and platform integrations.
• Conduct operational reviews to assess environments, ensuring optimal configuration, adoption of new functionality, and implementation of scalable, efficient workflows.
• Advise on and support integrations across front, middle, and back‑office systems, third‑party vendors, data warehouses, and reporting platforms.
• Process and reconcile key asset servicing lifecycle events and non‑trading activities.
• Document business and technical requirements, workflow designs, and maintain an up‑to‑date library of operational artifacts.
• Architect and engineer OMS workflows to meet complex business and operational requirements.
• Act as a subject‑matter expert for OMS functionality, providing escalation support for day‑to‑day operational issues as well as strategic client requests.
• Ensure quality, accuracy, and completeness of all solutions delivered to clients.
• Partner with internal teams.
