Job summary

State of Maryland seeks an IT CNSII technician to support Carroll County DSS IT infrastructure, manage assets, assist users with hardware/ software issues, and deploy applications. You will monitor systems, provide reports to leadership, and participate in projects approved by agency leadership.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, incident logging, and collaboration with other departments to ensure reliable IT services across the organization.

Qualifications

• Two years and six months IT experience required.
• Experience planning, integrating and maintaining software and hardware for local or wide area networks.
• Experience converting data from project specifications by developing programs using common programming languages.

Responsibilities

• Provides customer service to internal and external customers. Log incidents/service requests and track until resolution.
• Completes users requests per Helpdesk system and monitors IT systems for issues.
• Configures and manages IT solutions hosted at jurisdictional level and ensures asset disposals are compliant.
