Job summary

Mary’s County, MD, including the Leonardtown area. Ideal candidates will have experience in LAN/WAN environments, strong customer service skills, and the ability to troubleshoot hardware and software for non-technical users.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 15 college credits in systems analysis or programming for experience substitution.
• 15 college credits in IT systems analysis or programming substituting for 18 months of experience.
• Completion of a network administration certification program substituting for 18 months of experience.
• Bachelor's degree plus six months of IT network experience may substitute for required experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the point of contact for the agency's IT Unit.
• Provide technical support to agency staff.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Manage access to devices and ensure system security.
• Perform duties at several locations in St. Mary's County.

Education
