Job summary

General Dynamics Mission Systems seeks an IT Manager - Secure Mission Environments to lead secure IT operations within defense-contracting environments. The role bridges day-to-day IT operations with compliance programs under CMMC, NIST SP 800-171, RMF, and CUI handling requirements.

The incumbent will serve as the primary accountability for software asset management, system security, and regulatory readiness across enclave environments, coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Master's degree + 6+ years of relevant experience, or Bachelor's degree + 8 years of relevant experience.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance; DoD security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and maintain secure IT systems for regulated defense environments.
• Lead IT compliance with CMMC, NIST SP 800-171, RMF, and CUI handling requirements.
• Oversee IT security, software asset management, and enclave governance.
• Coordinate RMF authorization activities and prepare security documentation.
• Manage endpoint security, IAM, and network segmentation.
• Engage stakeholders and mentor staff on security practices.
