Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator (MECM) to support enterprise IT for INSCOM. The role focuses on MECM-based workstation and server management, security, and compliance across a federal environment.

Responsibilities include packaging, deployments, imaging, and automation, with TS/SCI clearance and DoD 8570 requirements. On-site work with travel may be required; salary ranges based on location and contractual needs.

Qualifications

• Preferred education: Associate degree (may be waived based on experience).
• 7+ years of related experience.
• Technical skills in MECM packaging, deployments and client health troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with Windows Server OS configuration, installation and patching via SCCM.
• Ability to assist with workstation imaging, OS deployments and automated software distribution.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory administration including user/group management and OU updates.
• Basic PowerShell scripting skills for automating tasks.
• Clearance: TS/SCI Required; DoD 8570-M IAT Level II CE Certification required; CI Polygraph may be required for certain positions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with building MECM application packages and deploying them to servers and workstations.
• Support installation, configuration, and patching of applications and Windows OS using System Center Configuration Manager.
• Help create and maintain standardized workstation images and support imaging for new system builds.
• Maintain automated application deployment packages and perform basic troubleshooting of software distribution issues.
• Develop or modify installation scripts with guidance from senior team members.
• Support OS deployments and updates across supported workstations.
• Assist with COTS/GOTS software configuration within the enterprise environment.
• Provide user support and escalates issues appropriately across Tier 1 and Tier 2.
• Help maintain server STIG compliance and coordinate with Information Assurance teams on findings.
• Perform routine Active Directory tasks including user and group updates and OU management in support of MECM functions.
