Job summary

Sealing Technologies, a Parsons Company, seeks an IT Manager for our Columbia, MD headquarters. You will lead the IT team, drive the project portfolio, and provide technical direction while hands-on contributing to resolving complex issues.

This hybrid role requires three days on-site and two remote days weekly. The ideal candidate has 6–8 years IT ops experience, security clearance eligibility, and deep M365/Entra ID/AD expertise, plus cloud and virtualization knowledge across AWS, Azure,

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Secret security clearance capable.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
• 6–8 years IT operations or sysadmin experience.
• 2+ years supervising IT staff (even without direct reports).
• In-office three days per week in Columbia, MD with two remote.
• Experience with M365, Entra ID, AD, Intune, and endpoint mgmt.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, VMware; strong policy and budgeting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT objectives and project portfolio execution.
• Provide day-to-day technical direction; no direct reports.
• Define scope, schedule, milestones; report status bi-weekly.
• Escalation point for Windows/macOS, apps, identity, network.
• Administer M365, Entra ID, AD, Intune; manage endpoints.
• Support network, VPN, VLANs, switches, routers, firewalls.
• Oversee cloud/virtualization: AWS, Azure, VMware; Windows Server.
• Handle onboarding/offboarding, asset lifecycle, licenses, procurement.
• Maintain documentation, runbooks, SOPs; prepare upgrades.
• Ensure compliance: DoD STIG, NIST 800-171, CMMC.
