Job summary

Sealing Technologies seeks an IT Manager to join its Corporate IT team in Columbia, MD. This hands-on leadership role directs IT projects and operations, three days in the office and two remote, with no direct reports but strong team guidance.

You will manage Microsoft 365, Entra ID/AD, Intune, and cloud/virtualization platforms (AWS/Azure/VMware), while ensuring security policies and DoD/NIST compliance are met. Requires 6–8 years IT ops experience and a secret clearance.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Secret clearance eligibility required.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
• 6–8 years IT operations experience with 2+ years leading or supervising a team.
• Hybrid work in Columbia, MD three days in office.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT objectives and project portfolio, reporting to the Director of IT.
• Provide day-to-day technical direction to the IT team; no direct reports.
• Define project scope, schedule, and milestones; bi-weekly status updates.
• Escalation point for complex issues across Windows/macOS, apps, identity, and network.
• Administer Microsoft 365 including Entra ID, Active Directory, and Intune.
• Support network, VPN, VLANs, switches, routing, and firewalls.
• Support AWS, Azure, VMware, Windows Server, and supporting infra.
• Oversee onboarding/offboarding, asset lifecycle, inventory, imaging, disposal.
• Coordinate with vendors on quotes, renewals, licensing; budget input.
• Enforce IT policies and security standards (DoD STIG, NIST 800-171, CMMC).
