Job summary

Gensler's Denver office is seeking an IT Manager to lead local technology operations, provide hands-on support, and partner with office leadership to translate priorities into effective IT service delivery.

You will balance hands-on support with local projects and mentor IT staff, coordinating with regional and firmwide teams to ensure adherence to standards and timely project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent
• At least 7 years of IT operations and technical support experience
• At least 2 years of experience managing IT staff
• Strong working knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 apps
• Experience supporting design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Cloud

Responsibilities

• Partner with employees and leadership to understand technology needs and provide responsive support
• Resolve technology issues to minimize downtime and maintain a strong employee experience
• Support consistent use of IT policies, procedures, and standards
• Maintain end-user support for Windows/Mac endpoints and Microsoft 365 apps
• Manage local IT operations, projects, and service desk leadership
• Coordinate onboarding and hardware deployment for new employees
• Support desktop, laptop, printers, and peripherals in the Denver office
• Lead IT staff and mentor team members
• Maintain local IT hardware lifecycle and vendor relationships
