Job summary

Rose Community Foundation seeks a Manager of Information Technology to oversee IT operations, plan and implement strategic technology solutions, and support staff across the organization. The role drives cloud migrations, system enhancements, and policy development to enable the Foundation’s mission in the Greater Denver area.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with people skills, offers project leadership, and aligns IT initiatives with organizational objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science or related discipline with a minimum of six years of experience in software development or IT infrastructure management.
• Demonstrated success in project management and ability to align IT strategy with organizational goals.
• Broad skills range from technical knowledge to understanding modern business practices, including cloud infrastructure, CRM systems, Windows 10, Office 365, Azure and relational databases.

Responsibilities

• Assess organizational technology needs and identify modernization pathways.
• Oversee IT projects in line with the Foundation’s strategic plan and goals.
• Develop and manage annual operating and capital budgets including hardware, software licensing and network operations.
• Manage IT consulting contracts and coordinate vendor services.
• Monitor backups and recovery processes for business continuity.
• Oversee migration from on‑premises to cloud infrastructure and to new business applications.
• Provide technical support and training for system users.
• Perform data analysis to identify patterns and inform decisions.
• Collaborate with third‑party evaluators to report information for evaluation purposes.
• Design and enforce IT policies and data retention procedures.
