Job summary

Teachers' Retirement System of Louisiana (TRSL) in Baton Rouge seeks a seasoned IT Manager to lead the System and Support section of the IT Department. You will oversee Helpdesk Support Team and Data Center Operations, drive strategic planning, and ensure system stability and security.

The role requires extensive IT experience and the ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage projects, and mentor staff to deliver high-quality technology services across the organization.

Qualifications

• Seven years of IT experience or equivalent combinations of education and experience.
• Experience substitution: up to 120 semester hours can substitute for 4 years of experience.
• Certification in an approved area may substitute for education/experience at hire or promotion.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational leadership of Helpdesk Support Team and Data Center Operations.
• Ensure stability, security, and efficiency of end-user support and core infrastructure.
• Lead and develop IT staff; conduct performance reviews and guide professional growth.
• Plan and execute infrastructure strategy aligned with organizational goals.
