Job summary

Teachers' Retirement System of Louisiana (TRSL) in Baton Rouge is seeking an IT Manager to lead Applications Programming, New Design/Development, and Senior Developer teams. Qualifications

• Seven years of experience in information technology OR six years in IT with five years in any field
• Associate's degree in IT plus five years of IT experience
• Bachelor's degree plus five years of IT experience
• Bachelor's degree with 24 semester hours in IT/CS/engineering/math/business analytics plus four years IT experience
• Master's degree plus four years IT experience

Responsibilities

• Oversee Applications Programming, New Design/Development, and Senior Developer sections
• Manage project planning, staffing, and development timelines
• Develop and execute an application strategy aligned with TRSL goals
• Provide leadership to multiple IT teams and drive performance
• Foster effective communication and collaboration across departments
• Coach and develop team members to strengthen technical and professional skills
• Ensure systems analysis to understand impacts of changes and requirements
• Promote a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and accountability
