Job summary

The Boeing Company’s Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) Engineering division seeks an Information Technology Manager to lead multiple teams across Certification, Safety, and Loadable Software functions in Everett, WA and other sites. You will drive delivery of enterprise solutions, foster strategic planning, and partner with stakeholders to accelerate value.

Responsibilities include managing the software development lifecycle, mentoring staff, ensuring coding standards and DevOps

Qualifications

• 1 year of leadership experience (team lead, manager, or equivalent) OR completion of Boeing training “Exploring Leadership.”
• 10+ years of information technology or technical support experience
• 5+ years in cross-functional environments with all levels of business
• 5+ years in software development and collaborative Agile environments with code reviews and automated DevOps tools/processes

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Certification & Safety application maintenance and development teams, providing guidance and mentorship.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define scope, and establish timelines.
• Manage the full software development lifecycle from requirements to deployment and maintenance.
• Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and QA processes.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, regulators, peers and direct reports.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors to ensure timely delivery within SLAs.
• Oversee budget and financial planning for the team.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate software solutions with existing systems.
