Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking an Information Technology Manager to lead the Certification & Safety software teams in a multi-site setup, including Everett, WA, and Seattle, WA. The role focuses on delivering mission-critical software for Certification, Safety, Airworthiness, and Loadable Software functions, while driving strategic planning and strong stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities include steering development lifecycle, maintaining standards, and coaching teams to ensure timely

Qualifications

• 10+ years of information technology or technical support experience.
• 5+ years in a cross-functional environment with all levels of the business.
• 5+ years of software development experience with Agile and a structured development process including code reviews and automated DevOps tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Certification & Safety application maintenance, development team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to team members.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and establish project timelines.
• Manage the software development lifecycle from requirements analysis through deployment and maintenance.
• Ensure adherence to software development best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance processes.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, regulators, peers, partners and direct reports.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors, ensuring timely delivery of software solutions and SLA adherence.
• Manage budget and financial plan for the team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software solutions with existing systems and processes.
• Identify, recruit, develop, engage, and retain team talent.
