Role Overview: This position involves leading IT due diligence, integration, and separation efforts within insurance Mergers & Acquisitions, providing strategic recommendations and managing complex projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess critical IT domains during buy-side and sell-side transactions, identifying risks and opportunities, and delivering executive reports.
• Oversee IT integration and separation initiatives across insurance sectors, including life, property & casualty, and specialty insurers, developing current state assessments and post-close plans.
• Provide thought leadership on core insurance platforms -policy administration, claims, billing, underwriting, digital distribution, and data platforms -developing go-to-market strategies focused on modernization and digital transformation.
• Establish program governance frameworks, utilizing AI tools for analytics, working with senior stakeholders to identify dependencies, risks, and opportunities across multiple functions.
• Lead strategic discussions and presentations with executive IT and business leaders.
• Uphold professional integrity and foster a respectful work environment.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum eight years of experience in technology consulting or leadership, with a proven record in IT transformations and M&A advisory.
• Preferred Master’s degree or Bachelor’s in relevant fields such as Information Systems, Computer Science, or Finance.
• Expertise in system integration/separation, platform migration, IT modernization, and regulatory technology within financial services, especially insurance.
• Strong leadership and strategic thinking, with experience managing cross-functional teams and developing go-to-market strategies.
• Deep understanding of enterprise IT ecosystems, cybersecurity, and IT best practices.
• Willingness to travel and authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
