Job summary

OpenSesame is seeking an IT leader to elevate a combined helpdesk and sysadmin team into a proactive, process-driven internal service organization. You will own onboarding/offboarding, automation initiatives, and audit-ready controls across departments.

In this working manager role, you will coach a growing team, develop a 6–12 month improvement roadmap, and partner with compliance and engineering to strengthen security posture while delivering measurable improvements company-wide.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading IT operations, helpdesk and sysadmin teams.
• Ability to design and implement onboarding/offboarding programs.
• Strong process design, governance and security mindset.
• Experience with vendor management and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own IT project roadmap and prioritize cross-functional initiatives.
• Build and coach a high-performing IT team.
• Automate processes and improve onboarding/offboarding efficiency.
• Define and track KPIs for IT operations and security.
