Job summary

Catalyx is seeking an L2 Lab Technician with a strong IT background to provide technical support for laboratory systems, equipment, software, and users in Spring House, PA. The role focuses on keeping laboratory technology reliable and operational, with hands-on troubleshooting in the lab setting.

You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues, support lab instruments and their connections to networks, and document incidents and resolutions. Strong communication is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of IT or technical support experience.
• Experience supporting IT in a laboratory, research, or scientific environment preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and documentation skills and ability to work with lab users.

Requirements

• 2+ years of IT support or technical support experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with IT systems, hardware, software, and troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting technology within a laboratory, research, or scientific environment preferred.
• Familiarity with computers, networks, connectivity, and laboratory equipment.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work directly with laboratory users and technical teams.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Comfortable working in an L2 support capacity and handling issues independently.
