Job summary

Stellar Consulting Solutions, LLC is seeking a Lab Computing Analyst to join a dynamic laboratory IT team in Seattle. The role focuses on supporting Windows-based laboratory systems and scientific instrumentation, with duties ranging from imaging to deployment and troubleshooting.

You will assist with instrument software, system validation, security, and compliance activities, while maintaining thorough documentation and inventory.

Qualifications

• Experience with Windows-based laboratory IT systems and deployment.
• Strong troubleshooting for hardware and software in a lab environment.
• Familiarity with validated environments and regulatory practices (GxP, GMP, ISO, FDA).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for laboratory computers, Windows systems, peripherals, and instrument-controlled software.
• Perform computer imaging, Windows installation/upgrades, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Support scientific instruments and their connected computers/software.
• Manage equipment onboarding, relocation, upgrades, and retirement.
• Troubleshoot hardware/software issues and coordinate with instrument vendors.
• Support system validation, change management, security, and compliance activities.
• Maintain equipment/PC/software inventory and technical documentation.
• Experience with computer imaging and deployment.
• Strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills.
• Experience supporting laboratory or scientific instrumentation.
• Knowledge of networking and Windows security/permissions.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in GxP, GMP, ISO, or FDA-regulated environments.
• Experience working in validated environments.
