Job Summary

We are seeking an IT Inventory & Warehouse Specialist for a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity in Saint Paul, MN. This hands‑on role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying organized, working with technology, managing inventory, and supporting day-to-day warehouse operations in a fast‑paced fulfillment environment.

In this position, you will help manage computers, cell phones, peripherals, IT equipment, and related technology assets while supporting shipping, receiving, deliveries, inventory counts, and internal customer needs. This is a strong opportunity to build experience in IT asset management, warehouse operations, inventory control, and client support.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, organize, track, and ship IT equipment, computers, mobile devices, peripherals, and related technology assets.
• Maintain an accurate and organized IT asset warehouse, including shelving, storage areas, inventory records, and equipment locations.
• Perform regular inventory counts, update tracking systems, and help ensure asset records are complete and accurate.
• Prepare packages and process shipments through UPS, FedEx, and other carriers.
• Deliver and pick up equipment between multiple locations using safe and reliable driving practices.
• Communicate with internal customers, support teams, facilities staff, and management to resolve requests and support operational needs.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay: $21 to $24 per hour, depending on experience.
• Schedule: Full-time.
• Job Type: Temp-to-hire.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Manage day‑to‑day IT equipment inventory, including receiving, organizing, tracking, and shipping technology assets.
• Support inventory counts, warehouse organization, and accurate record updates for computers, phones, peripherals, and supplies.
• Assist with equipment fulfillment, repairs, purchasing support, shipments, deliveries, and pickups.
• Respond to basic internal client support requests and help elevate issues when needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 to 5 years of related experience preferred in warehouse, inventory, fulfillment, operations, logistics, IT support, or a similar hands‑on environment.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable working with computers, mobile devices, IT equipment, peripherals, and basic technology assets.
• Ability and willingness to learn inventory control, warehouse procedures, IT asset management, and carrier shipping systems.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Dependable, self‑motivated, and able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to take ownership of tasks and complete assignments on time.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, fulfillment, shipping, logistics, or asset management.
• Experience working with computers, cell phones, hardware, accessories, peripherals, or IT equipment.
• Ability to identify basic computer hardware, technology accessories, and common peripherals.
• Experience using inventory tracking, asset management, shipping, or warehouse management systems.
• Customer service, help desk, technical support, or internal client support experience.
