Job summary

CareerNerds, LLC is seeking an IT Internal Audit Manager to plan, execute, and report audits across an enterprise IT environment in Phoenix. You will evaluate IT controls, support SOX compliance, and partner with IT and business leaders.

Responsibilities include leading IT audits (ITGC, application controls, operational audits), developing the annual risk-based IT audit plan, overseeing SOX IT control testing, and mentoring staff while communicating findings to senior management and external

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Accounting or related field.
• Certification: CIA or CISA required; CPA or CISSP preferred.
• Experience with AuditBoard and IT controls.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and execute IT audits (ITGC, application controls, operational audits).
• Develop annual risk-based IT audit plan with Audit leadership.
• Lead SOX IT control testing and remediation tracking.
• Communicate findings and risks to senior management and external auditors.
• Mentor audit staff and manage relationships with IT leadership.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology/Computer Science/Accounting

CIA or CISA certification

CPA or CISSP preferred

Master's degree or MBA (nice to have)
