Job summary

United Future is hiring an IT Internal Audit Manager to plan, execute, and report on audits across an enterprise IT environment from Phoenix, AZ. The role strengthens risk management and governance by evaluating IT controls and supporting SOX compliance.

You will lead ITGC and application controls audits, apply COBIT/COSO/NIST/ISO 27001, and mentor staff while partnering with IT and business leaders. This is an in-office role in Phoenix.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field.
• CIA or CISA certification required; CPA or CISSP preferred.
• In-depth experience with AuditBoard.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and execute IT audits (ITGC, application controls, operational audits).
• Develop and maintain the annual risk-based IT audit plan.
• Lead SOX IT control testing (scoping, walkthroughs, design & operating effectiveness, remediation tracking).
• Apply COBIT, COSO, NIST, ISO 27001 to assess control environments and identify risk.
• Manage and develop the AuditBoard platform and document workpapers, findings, and controls.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop audit staff throughout the audit lifecycle.
• Communicate findings, risks, and recommendations to senior management, business stakeholders, and external auditors.
