Job summary

Essenti Talent in Phoenix, AZ, is hiring an IT Internal Audit Manager to plan, execute, and report IT audits across the enterprise. You will assess ITGCs, application controls, and operate within SOX compliance to strengthen governance.

You will lead a team, apply COBIT/COSO/NIST/ISO 27001 frameworks, and partner with IT leadership and external auditors to drive timely remediation and risk-informed decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Accounting or related field.
• CIA or CISA certification required; CPA or CISSP preferred.
• Experience with ITGC, SOX testing, and AuditBoard.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and execute IT audits (ITGC, application controls, operations).
• Develop annual risk-based IT audit plan.
• Lead SOX IT control testing and remediation tracking.
• Document findings and controls; supervise staff.
• Communicate risks to senior management and external auditors.
