Job summary

Professional Recruiting Consultants, Inc. is seeking an IT Internal Audit Manager to lead audits across an enterprise IT environment, strengthen risk management, and support SOX compliance in-office in Phoenix, AZ.

You will evaluate ITGC and application controls, mentor staff, and report findings to senior management. Candidates should have a BA/IT-related field and CIA/CISA certification, with 5+ years in IT audit and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Accounting, or a related field.
• CIA or CISA certification required; CPA or CISSP preferred.
• In-depth experience with AuditBoard.
• 5+ years of progressive IT/internal audit or risk/compliance experience with leadership.
• Familiarity with IT controls, audit methodologies, and risk frameworks.
• Experience with SOX control testing.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and execute IT audits including ITGC, application controls, and operational audits.
• Develop and maintain the annual risk-based IT audit plan with Internal Audit leadership.
• Lead SOX IT control testing with scoping, walkthroughs, design and operating effectiveness testing, and remediation tracking.
• Apply COBIT, COSO, NIST, ISO 27001 to assess control environments and identify risk.
• Manage AuditBoard platform and document workpapers, findings, and controls.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop audit staff throughout the audit lifecycle.
• Communicate findings, risks, and recommendations to senior management and external auditors.
• Build relationships with IT leadership, business units, and external audit partners.
• Track audit issues and management action plans for timely remediation.
• Stay current on technology risks, regulatory changes, and industry best practices.
