Job summary

PMO Partners LLC seeks an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT initiatives across business and technology teams. You will govern scope, schedule, budget, and risks while coordinating stakeholders and resources to ensure on-time delivery of applications, integrations, and data solutions.

The role requires strong PM lifecycle knowledge, experience with Waterfall/Agile/Hybrid methods, and proficiency with MS Project, Planview, and SharePoint.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT project management experience in application development, integration, data, and technology initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of PM life cycle principles, methodologies, and SDLC practices.
• Ability to independently manage mid-sized IT initiatives and contribute to larger programs.
• Experience in Commercial Insurance, Property & Casualty Insurance, or Financial Services preferred.
• Proven experience with Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Experience using PM tools like Microsoft Project, Planview, SharePoint, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of IT projects (application, integration, data, and technology).
• Coordinate day-to-day activities across business and tech teams within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Develop and maintain charters, schedules, budgets, communications, risk registers, and docs.
• Partner with stakeholders to define objectives, requirements, timelines, success criteria, outcomes.
• Collaborate with analysts, architects, and technical teams to deliver solutions.
• Coordinate resources and support funding with leadership and managers.
• Monitor performance and report status, risks, issues, dependencies, mitigation plans.
• Escalate concerns and help resolve delivery challenges.
• Maintain project metrics and transparency for decision-making.
• Ensure deliverables comply with governance, audit, regulatory, and internal controls.
• Support closure activities: transition, readiness, knowledge transfer, lessons learned.
• Stay current on emerging tech and industry trends and their impact.
• Contribute to PMO process improvements and best practices.
