Job summary

PMO Partners LLC is seeking an IT Project Manager to lead planning, execution, and delivery of initiatives across business and technology teams. You will coordinate activity, manage risks, and ensure governance and stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.

The role demands experience with Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid delivery, and proficiency in Microsoft Project, Planview, and SharePoint. A Bachelor's in IT/CS/Business is required; PMP is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT project management experience.
• Strong knowledge of PM lifecycle and SDLC.
• Ability to independently manage mid-sized IT initiatives.
• Experience in Insurance or Financial Services environments preferred.
• Proven ability with Waterfall, Agile and Hybrid delivery.
• Proficient in MS Project, Planview or similar tools.
• Translate business requirements into actionable deliverables.
• Hands-on with enterprise data, integrations, and IT delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of IT projects per governance standards.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities to meet scope, schedule, and budget.
• Develop and maintain charters, schedules, budgets, and risk plans.
• Partner with stakeholders to define objectives, timelines, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with analysts, architects, and tech teams on solutions.
• Coordinate resources and support funding with leadership.
• Monitor performance and report status, risks, and mitigations.
• Escalate concerns and help implement resolutions.
• Maintain project metrics and governance documentation.
• Ensure compliance with governance, audits, and controls.
• Support project closure, knowledge transfer, and lessons learned.
• Stay current on tech trends and PMO process improvements.
