Job summary

firstPRO US is seeking an IT Manager to lead technology operations across on-premises, hosted, SaaS, and cloud environments. The role covers infrastructure, applications, automation, and information security, while managing staff and external vendors.

You will oversee incident response, project delivery, audits, and process improvements, ensuring secure, reliable operations and timely updates to leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive IT operations experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT/CS/IS/Business.
• Strong hands-on administration of infrastructure, applications, and security.
• Experience with AWS services and cloud architectures.
• Familiarity with banking applications and regulatory considerations.
• Certifications in AWS, Azure, ITIL, CISSP, CISM or similar preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop IT staff across infrastructure, applications, service desk, automation, security, and operations.
• Provide hands-on admin, troubleshooting, and support for servers, networks, endpoints, and cloud platforms.
• Support AWS architecture, access management, monitoring, cost control, and resilience.
• Develop automation via scripting, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Monitor systems and incidents, ensuring timely escalation and recovery.
• Manage relationships with vendors and service providers, including key partners.
• Lead IT projects, migrations, cloud initiatives, and modernization efforts from planning to deployment.
• Provide operational updates to IT leadership during incidents, outages, and major projects.
• Support audits, risk assessments, and regulatory reviews with documentation and evidence.
• Maintain diagrams, runbooks, inventories, and vendor contacts for operational readiness.
