Job summary

Infosys Limited in the United States is seeking an Infrastructure Consultant 2 to support complex IT infrastructure tasks, lead incident response, and drive scalable, cost-effective solutions across on-prem and cloud environments.

You will coordinate deployments, design automation, and collaborate with onsite and offshore teams to optimize performance and reliability. A Bachelor’s degree and ITIL knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• Provide support for complex or specialized infrastructure and application tasks.
• Experience implementing and overseeing enterprise-level IT systems and services, including rollout of new service across applications and shared services.
• Ability to lead critical incident response and root cause analysis.
• Ability to lead critical application releases and implementations, including coordination of interfacing application changes.
• Understanding how to manage relationships with vendors.
• Ability to build dashboards and automation scripts to improve observability, reduce manual work and protect business uptime.
• Act as subject matter expert on design, operations, functionality and the impact of changes.
• Will be required to recommend and lead continuous improvement.
• Deep expertise in enterprise infrastructure (on-prem and cloud hybrid) and AWS cloud computing.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and client teams to resolve incidents and document findings with preventive recommendations.
• Evaluate client IT infrastructure, prepare actionable assessment reports, and support due diligence to document infrastructure maturity and improvement opportunities.
• Contribute to the design of scalable, cost-effective IT infrastructure solutions, review reusable components, and develop technical documentation.
• Align release schedules and environment readiness, execute deployments as per protocols, perform post-deployment testing, and manage version control.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules, emergency fixes, and technology upgrades while ensuring uninterrupted integration into existing systems.
• Facilitate performance data analysis across systems, coordinate insights on system behavior, and support capacity planning.
• Conduct security checks, recovery drills, and compliance audits, implement security measures, and coordinate continuity plans.
• Gather feedback to identify automation opportunities, analyze existing infrastructure processes, and propose enhancements.
• Act as liaison with onsite, offshore, and vendor teams to document project requirements and ensure collaboration.
• Develop a centralized repository of technical and procedural knowledge, leveraging insights from other projects.
