Job summary

Vallen is seeking an Implementation Specialist I to ensure IT systems deployment, setup of storeroom operations, and customer data file development. You will support go-live and transition activities at customer sites and collaborate with project teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 1–3 years of related experience, with exposure to inventory, data mapping, and process improvement in a manufacturing or distributor setting. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 1–3 years applicable experience.
• Experience with a distributor of MRO products in sales, operations or purchasing.
• Experience in a manufacturing/production environment, storeroom or tool crib.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with customers to define requirements for implementation (data, performance reporting, delivery, etc.).
• Assists IT in developing specifications for key interfaces and data mapping for reliable go-live.
• Sets up account information, links the pricing matrix, and plans workflow logistics.
• Receives data files from customers and coordinates with the project leader to cross-reference items.
• Participates in physical inventories at customer facilities and reconciles variances.
• Provides go-live and transition support including training and site process reviews.
• Demonstrates clear communication and performs other duties as assigned.
