Job summary

Vallen is seeking a Storeroom Team Leader to work on-site at a customer location, coordinating work, training staff, and handling storeroom operations and inventory. You will guide others on procedures and ensure adherence to safety and policy.

The role covers customer service, purchasing, warehousing, and inventory management, with routine data entry and process improvements. Experience with supply chain systems is important for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 4+ years of related experience.
• Demonstrated product, industry and supply chain systems knowledge.
• Proficiency with MS-Office products (Excel, Word) and the ability to learn company-specific programs.

Responsibilities

• Provides high-level customer service by responding to customers via phone, email, or in person.
• Coordinates and performs work involving ordering, receiving, inspecting, returning, unloading, shelving, binning, packing, labeling, pricing, and maintaining inventory.
• Prioritizes and assigns tasks to ensure resources are used effectively and schedules meet targets.
• Enters data into a database or other system to maintain up-to-date inventory records.
• Trains, mentors, and monitors others on storeroom operations and safety.
• Assists with ensuring safe operation of storeroom and related duties.
