Job summary

Vallen is seeking an Implementation Specialist I to ensure deployment of IT systems, proper storeroom operations setup, and development of customer catalogs/data files. You will support physical inventory at customer facilities and transition operations to site leadership after go-live.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 1–3 years of related experience, experience in industrial inventory management, and proficiency with data mapping, pricing matrices, and MS Project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 1–3 years of applicable experience.
• Experience with a distributor of MRO products in sales, operations or purchasing.
• Experience in purchasing/inventory management in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with customers to define requirements for the implementation.
• Assists IT in developing specifications for key interfaces and data mapping.
• Sets up account information in business systems and links pricing matrices.
• Receives data files from customers and coordinates with the project leader.
• Participates in physical inventory activities at customer facilities.
• Reconciles variances with the customer's file after inventory.
• Provides go-live and transition support to site operations.
