Job summary

Bargreen Ellingson is seeking an IT Support Technician to join our Fife, WA office. You will be the first point of contact for internal users, providing timely desktop, software, and network support and guiding users through simple solutions.

Responsibilities include handling requests via phone, email, Jira, or in person; assisting with hardware setup; documenting issues; and coordinating with senior staff and vendors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; IT coursework or certifications are advantageous.
• Strong passion for technology and a desire to build a career in IT.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and common software applications.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and IT procedures.
• Previous experience in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Respond to IT support requests via phone, email, Jira, or in-person and provide timely technical assistance to resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Assist in setup, installation, and configuration of desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems using established procedures and guide users through solutions.
• Escalate complex issues to senior technicians while documenting the problem clearly.
• Maintain records of IT requests, resolutions, and equipment inventory using ticketing systems.
• Assist with software updates, patches, and basic network configurations as directed by senior staff.
• Provide basic training to users on IT systems and applications.
• Liaise with IT and/or vendors to support relevant systems.
