Job summary

UNR Med IT is seeking a student worker to join our Helpdesk team. You will field calls and chats for IT support, clearly explain solutions, and route complex issues to a Med IT Technician when needed. You will support UNRMed operations by assisting with IT needs for classrooms and clinics.

Hours: up to 20 per week during the semester (up to 40 hours in breaks), 8:00am–5:00pm, Monday–Friday. Compensation starts at $12.25 per hour, with a flexible schedule based on class availability.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled at the University of Nevada, Reno.

Responsibilities

• Fielding and resolving or triaging support calls and chats
• Creating support tickets
• Assisting with inventory
• Occasional in-person support calls
• Other tasks as assigned
