Job summary

OUC - The Reliable One in Orlando, FL seeks a Technical Support Specialist I to provide day-to-day IT operations and helpdesk support for critical systems and enterprise applications.

You will diagnose hardware/software issues, manage tickets in FootPrints, monitor Control-M jobs, and participate in on-call rotations after training. A collaborative team environment and ongoing learning are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required; some college or technical certs are a plus.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a call center or customer service providing technical support.
• One year of data processing, IT support, or helpdesk operations.

Responsibilities

• Respond to technical and functional requests by phone, email, or in person.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues and manage support tickets in FootPrints.
• Monitor and verify production batch jobs on local and enterprise schedulers.
• Assist with testing new hardware, software, and business processes in test environments.
• Support on-call rotations and coordinate with IT teams on changes.
• Document procedures and update technical information for the team.
