Barksdale Federal Credit Union is hiring a Computer Technician to coordinate, install, and maintain PC hardware, software and peripherals, and to deliver technical support by phone.

You will diagnose and resolve end-user workstation problems, perform preventive maintenance, and keep precise service records while supporting ongoing system installations.

This role requires 1+ year experience and a high school diploma with repair training.

Qualifications

• One or more years of related computer equipment repair experience.
• High school graduate with computer repair training and certification.
• Thorough knowledge of computer parts, applications, and telecom systems.
• Knowledge of testing and repair equipment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, install, and maintain PC hardware, software and peripherals.
• Deliver technical customer support over the phone and troubleshoot problems.
• Repair, maintain, upgrade computers and related equipment.
• Perform diagnostic testing and preventive maintenance.
• Keep detailed records and maintain testing tools.
